Mental Health First Aid Training

Kalamazoo College is partnered with Kalamazoo County Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (KCMHSAS) to provide Mental Health First Aid training at no cost to the College.

The general goals of the training are to be able to recognize when someone (colleague, student, friend, family member) may need to be connected with mental health support services and how to locate such services.

The entire training is eight hours in length. It will be offered in two four-hour sessions (March 17 and 18, 12:30-4:30 p.m.) Registration is requested and may be completed by visiting https://hr.kzoo.edu/mhfa/ or by contacting Renee Boelcke. The training requires registration of fifteen to thirty people and is on a first come, first served basis.

Please direct questions to Renee Boelcke at renee.boelcke@kzoo.edu.

Thank you for considering.
