Your full annual election is available at the beginning of the plan year, even though contributions are deducted throughout the year.

Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA)

A Dependent Care FSA lets you set aside pre-tax dollars from your paycheck to help pay eligible dependent care expenses that allow you (and your spouse, if applicable) to work, such as child care, preschool, before- and after-school programs, day camp, or qualifying adult/elder care. Unlike a Medical FSA, reimbursement is limited to the amount that has been contributed to your account at the time of the claim.
