Employees of the College may self-nominate or nominate a colleague.


Benefits and Compensation Committee

The BCC meets quarterly during academic terms. Service length for a member of the BCC is generally four years.

Employee Advisor

Conversations with employees are on an as-needed basis. The term length for an employee advisor is generally three years.

Harassment Review Board

Part of a group to consider matters involving employee and student matters, this group convenes as necessary and participates in regular skills training.

Retirement Oversight Committee

Meets approximately three times per year. The term length for a member of the Retirement Oversight Committee is generally three years.

Climate Action Plan Committee

Chaired by the AVP for Facilities Management, this committee requires a commitment of at least two hours per month. The term length is generally three years.

Search Committee

Search committees are ad hoc committees that are charged with selecting, or recommending, a new colleague.

Inducted members of Phi Beta Kappa are invited to the Kalamazoo College chapter.
